Recycled Garden Art Competition and Garden Party
2019 The Jazz & Beyond Carson City Music Festival, produced by the Mile High Jazz Band Association, and the Carson City Arts & Culture Coalition, are sponsoring A Recycled Garden art competition and Garden Party open to all Northern Nevada Artists. The art will be shown at Bliss Mansion at the opening event of the 2019 Jazz & Beyond Carson City Music Festival, August 9th starting at 4pm. The Recycled Garden Party will have live music, an art show, food truck, and house tour. All accepted art will be subject to sale to benefit the Jazz & Beyond Music Festival; however, artists may make sales of their own fine art and garden art during the festival. A monetary award of $100 will be given to the winning artist work selected by the Jazz & Beyond Music Festival committee.
Art can be up to 5ft. high by 5ft.
Artists may submit up to three entries.
Art must be able to survive
Northern Nevada outdoors environment for apx. 3years.
Art must consist of 75% recycled
material. Recycled material is considered to be natural materials
such as willow, bark, wood, etc. Man made materials such as cans, plastic
bottles, metal, barbed wire, silverware, automobile parts, etc., are also
considered recyclable materials for this project.
Art is due to the Jazz & Beyond committee by July 1st. Art should Be delivered to Bliss Mansion (608 Elizabeth Street, Carson City, NV 89702). Arrangements for delivery can be made by email firstname.lastname@example.org
Art will be the property of Jazz
& Beyond Carson City Music Festival to raffle or sell for the benefit of
