The Third Annual “A Day at the Silver Saddle Ranch,” 2648 Carson River Road on the east side of Prison Hill, will be on Sunday, August 11, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Bluegrass and Western music, live animals, and food trucks will be featured. Enjoy several performances:

Dale Poune 4-5pm

Dale Poune has been Lacy J Dalton’s guitar and mandolin player for a number of years. Dale has been a musician and songwriter his whole life, one of the lucky ones. He plays guitar, dobro, mandolin, bass, and sings. He has performed with the Fortunes (“You’ve Got Your Troubles,” “Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again”), Buddy Miles, The Coasters, and The Drifters.

He is currently working with independent country artist Lacy J. Dalton (“16th Ave,” “Black Coffee”). When not working with Lacy, he still tours with the Fortunes. At home you can catch him in local Reno clubs playing with bands or doing a single.

Dale’s first solo album was titled “Loose Ends,” and he released a second CD titled “Guitar Pizza” on the Pepo records label.
